Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing the website brilliantmind.co.mz or hiring BrilliantMind services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Who we are

BrilliantMind is a Mozambican collective of young academics passionate about technology, headquartered in Magoanine C, Maputo. We provide website development, web systems, mobile apps, payment integration, IT consulting and training services.

3. Services

Each contracted project is governed by a specific commercial proposal detailing scope, timelines, prices and payment terms. This page does not replace the individual contract.

4. Payment

• The standard model is phased: 30% upfront, 40% during development, 30% on delivery.
• We accept M-Pesa and e-Mola.
• Prices are in Meticais (MZN) and may be revised for international projects.

5. Intellectual property

After full payment, the client owns the source code and content of the delivered project. BrilliantMind reserves the right to mention the project in its public portfolio, unless otherwise agreed.

Open-source libraries used (Laravel, Vue.js, Flutter, etc.) retain their original licences.

6. Support and warranty

• All projects include 30 days of free support after delivery for bug fixes.
• After that period, support is provided under a monthly maintenance plan or ad hoc.
• The warranty does not cover scope changes or new features.

7. Limitation of liability

BrilliantMind is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the services, third-party failures (hosting providers, payment gateways) or outages beyond our control.

8. Cancellation

If the client cancels a project, hours and materials invested up to that date are invoiced based on the commercial proposal.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of the city of Maputo.
